Taconic Supports SCOPE
The Camp Taconic community’s efforts this summer will support SCOPE by helping to provide children from low-income families with access to attend nonprofit, ACA-accredited overnight camps.
On the afternoon of Thursday, July 20, 2023, our campers will walk approximately two miles for our 7th Annual Strides4SCOPE event! We are asking parents, families, and friends to sponsor our campers, helping to raise money for SCOPE.
Over eight summers, the Camp Taconic community has raised $200,000, providing over 150 financially disadvantaged children with access to overnight camp. We all know the positive effects that camp has on children, and we saw firsthand how hard it was for our campers not to be able to have that camp experience in 2020. We sincerely believe that as many children as possible should be able to experience camp and are grateful for your help in sponsoring as many camperships as possible.
