Help Make Overnight Summer Camp Accessible for ALL Children Support SCOPE

Banner Day Camp Supports SCOPE Midwest

At Banner, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to spend the summer at a well-organized and well-run camp program. That is why we have continued to support SCOPE Midwest; a non-profit organization that raises money to send children from low-income families and under-resourced communities to ACA accredited non-profit overnight camps for two weeks. SCOPE Midwest is unique in that once a child attends camp, they are able to continue attending as long as they are registered in school. Camp experiences provide opportunities to build confidence, make new friends and develop important 21st century skills that are instrumental in future successes.

Your support in sponsoring a camper will help provide access to overnight camp for less fortunate children through SCOPE Midwest. We are grateful for your help in sharing truly impactful camp experiences with so many children from low-income families.

About SCOPE

SCOPE believes that summer camp is an essential component of the year-round educational continuum and plays a critical role in helping children from underserved communities to thrive. Unfortunately, these children have little or no access to summer camps and programs, resulting in an enormous achievement gap and summer learning loss. SCOPE bridges this gap by making summer camp accessible to as many deserving children as possible.
