SCOPE’s Hoedown Throwdown

A crew of over 150 camp-passionate young professionals rode into town last night for SCOPE’s Hoedown Throwdown! It was a rootin’-tootin’ good time, and everyone was out to support a great cause! A big ol’ thank you to our sponsors for helpin’ make this event a rip-roarin’ success and a tip of the hat to our event committee and volunteers. Yee Haw!

About SCOPE

SCOPE believes that summer camp is an essential component of the year-round educational continuum and plays a critical role in helping children from under-resourced communities to thrive. Unfortunately, these children have little or no access to summer camps and programs, resulting in an enormous achievement gap and summer learning loss. SCOPE bridges this gap by making summer camp accessible to as many deserving children as possible.

About the SCOPE Associate Board

Young professionals who are believers and champions of the camp experience can join the SCOPE Associate Board, a growing group of 21+ professionals dedicated to supporting SCOPE’s mission. They volunteer their time and engage young professionals, peer to peer, who share a love of summer camp and understand the important role summer camp plays in the development of children.
