Timber Lake West’s SCOPE-A-OKE
In the summer of 2025, Timber Lake West hosted SCOPE-A-OKE, a session-long Karaoke/Battle of the Bands competition, where campers sang, danced, dressed up and performed on stage in the hopes of making it to the FINALE SING OFF.
Families played a vital role in the success of this event as charitable donors and VOTERS!Â
Our onsite judging system sent one act from each night through to the finale. There was also ONE WILD CARD SPOT. This is where voting came in! The division that raised the most money received the Wild Card spot, allowing a second act from their age group to compete for the GRAND prize: a trip to Raimondo’s Pizza for their full division and a SCOPE-A-OKE commemorative trophy. Additionally, any camper whose family supported this initiative by purchasing votes were entered into a raffle. Three raffle winners served as LIVE judges during our finale!

We are very excited about the energy and spirit this event will add to our session AND we are grateful to have the opportunity to make camp more accessible! Our West Family is passionate about SCOPE and its mission to pave the path to camp and beyond!Â
