The second annual BAKyard Jams brought together guests, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for an unforgettable summer night of live music, great food, and community.
Most importantly, the event raised funds to help create more opportunities for children from under-resourced communities to experience the life-changing power of overnight camp.
Thank you to everyone who made BAKyard Jams possible, including our event committee, teen volunteers, sponsors, and especially event creator and chair Shana Koransky. We are grateful to have such a dedicated SCOPE community helping pave the path to camp for more children.

About BAKyard Jams
Founded by Shana Koransky, BAKyard Jams is a Concert for a Cause created in memory of her parents, Bob And Karen. Raised with a deep commitment to helping others, Shana turned her pain into purpose, bringing together three of the things that have always grounded her: music, camp, and philanthropy.
Music was always a central part of Shana’s relationship with her parents, which led her to attend a sleepaway camp centered around it. As a lifelong camper, helping provide children with the opportunity to experience camp is something she knew would make her parents proud.
BAKyard Jams benefits SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education), the national nonprofit funder of overnight summer camp and college scholarships, creating pathways to potential through Camp, Classroom, College, and Career for children and teens from under-resourced communities who commit to staying in school.
At its core, BAKyard Jams brings people together through music while creating connection and meaningful impact.
