Young Professionals
SCOPE Associate Board members are believers and champions of the camp experience.
The Associate Board is a growing group of young professionals, ages 21+ who leverage their expertise, networks and resources to help advocate and fundraise for SCOPE.
They believe camp has the power to provide a lasting and positive impact in the life of a child, and support SCOPE’s mission to provide camp scholarships to as many less fortunate children from low-income families as possible.
I am forever grateful for the opportunity I was given as a child [to attend camp] and have made it my mission to try and give this opportunity to other kids who are less fortunate.
Through unique events, engaging activities and personal fundraisers, this motivated group has raised close to $100,000 in just 3 years!
As a group, the SCOPE Associate Board sets an annual financial goal to help support a certain number of camperships each summer at camp. Each individual creates a personal goal to engage their personal network to help support them as they do their part to help provide a camp experience for a less fortunate child.
The Associate Board’s events are creative and impactful – each effort raises funds for camp scholarships and awareness for SCOPE. Some SCOPE Associate Board events of the past include:
- 5K (Run/Walk)
- Casino Night
- Comedy Club
- Office Holiday Party Fundraiser
- Olympics
- Social and Sporting Event Fundraisers
- Social Media Fundraisers
- Spin/Dance/Ride for SCOPE
- Square Dancing
Nothing would make me happier than to give the gift of summer camp to children [whose families] normally couldn’t afford it.
