It’s SCOPE’s first Junior Leadership Council (JLC) event of the 2017-2018 year!
ALL AGES WELCOME!
Being part of the JLC empowers you to pass along what you love about summer camp to those who do not have the same opportunities due to the economic disadvantages faced by their families.
Learn how to lead through giving back!
Join Adam Baranker, SCOPE Young Leaders Board Member and Assistant Director at Jeff Lake Camp, as he leads this great event.
Gain transferable leadership skills you can bring with you into other areas of your life. Learn how to better communicate with your peers, interact with adult professionals, plan an event, or learn the language of fundraising. These are skills that will catapult you forward in future endeavors.
Remember, getting involved with the SCOPE Junior Leadership Council is a great way to set your college application apart and earn community service credit too!

A little bit about Adam: He started at Jeff Lake in 1992 at the age of 4 and has been a part of the Jeff Lake Family ever since. His mother was a Jeff Lake camper and counselor in the 70’s, so it was natural when he followed suit. During his 24 years at Jeff Lake, Adam has been a camper, CIT, AIDE, Junior Counselor, Senior counselor, Color War Captain and now Assistant Director. Aside from always leading cheers and camp spirit, Adam is the CIT/AIDE Director, manages the camp’s Social Media, Staffing, and assists in Special Events and Programming.
